Math & Science Tutoring: All Ages

My goal is to reach as many people as possible who need help in Math & Science. I have been a private tutor for roughly 12 years. Over those years, I've had the honor of supporting students who live in very influential suburbs in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. Private 1-on-1 tutoring is a viable option for them. That's not the case for many students. I recently relocated back to Omaha, Nebraska which is my hometown. Here in Omaha, I want to support students who cannot afford private 1-on-1 tutoring as well as small group tutoring.

My tutoring subjects span most Math & Science courses and include Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Statistics. I'm still part-time online tutoring staff at Collin College in Plano, Texas where I've been tutoring Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Biology for the past 5 years. Most students I have worked with over the years are middle school to college level, but I'd like to help grade school students as well. I have clocked roughly 15,000 hours tutoring over the past decade. I've worked for various local tutoring companies in the DFW area as a part-time subject tutor. I've been running my own tutoring company since last summer (AL Tutoring: at website https://sites.google.com/view/altutoring/home), and I covered roughly 500 appointments this past school year as a private tutor. GED, SAT/ACT, and college prep will be a major focus while assisting individuals with subject tutoring as well.

I'm aiming to establish an office (possibly a shared office environment) in Omaha, near the downtown or Midtown area, where I can work with students 1-on-1 or in small groups. The $6,000 in funds is needed to help kick-start the business by January 2020: $6,000 for an office lease for the first 6 months and any funds beyond that would be used for advertising and technology enhancement. I currently have the technology to work with students online, and it seems to work pretty well. Down the line I would like to make improvements to the technology side. I have most of the subject documentation that I need already since I've been tutoring for quite some time.
