Campaign Story
This will be a follow up project on the one I am currently working on (Sicanang New Face).
As we will be reaching the goal to improve the health of the slum dwellers at the targeted area, we would like to expand our services to a one year development program which offers maternal and child development training for women and children. It is expected that by giving these trainings, the mothers will have skills to help improve the economy of the family and the children will develop skills in teamwork, competition, and proudly will show their improved health by being able to do different kinds of classes and activities.
Objective:
- Cognitive Field: To provide skills training such as sewing class, making accessories class, making pastries class, embroidery class, creativity recycling class for women and teaching & playing class for children. The creation of the mothers will be sold to market so that they can generate income.
- Physical Field: Nutrition programs, provision of nutritional supplies
- Socio-emotional Field: swimming together, regular meetings, outing, playing in Timezone (games park), birthday celebration, Independence Day race, etc.
Targeted Beneficiaries
Pregnant women, breast-feeding mothers, children 0-3 years old, total 100 individuals (50 Mother's and 50 children)
