Freemasonry museum in Riga is aimed to be a place that will introduce residents and guests of Riga to the history of spiritual search, the formation of a humanistic community and the phenomenon of Freemasonry from its origins to the present.
The uniqueness of the museum is proved by the richness of its collection. This collection is the largest in Eastern Europe and includes more than 1,500 objects, including personal signs and documents of famous masons: writers (Rudyard Kipling), artists (William Shakespeare Burton), politicians (General George Cockerill, English MP and creator of MI-5 ) and even presidents (President of the U.S. Harry Truman).
The museum with total area of 300 m2 will be located in the city center at the intersection of touristic flows and will become a new point on the cultural map of Riga.
This fundraising campaign is aimed to attracts fund to build the exhibition in the space owned by the museum.
