Help Marvin pay for his hospital bills

We are friends, colleagues, and family members of Marvin Rellamas, who is now in the hospital due to Covid19. We created this account to raise funds for our brother's increasing medical bills. Marvin tested positive for covid 19 last September 2. 2 days later, he was admitted to the hospital as his symptoms got severe. His doctor tagged his condition "critical" and advised that he be transferred to the ICU and intubated right away. Marvin declined in consideration of the possible financial implications. He has always been the considerate one, never wanting to bother other people with his own struggles. As he soon got too weak to decide on his own, we overrode the doctor's decision while in faith that we can put our hands, minds, and finances together to help him fund treatment. We initially launched the fundraiser outside gogetfunding. With the help of colleagues, relatives, and classmates, were able to gather a small sum to help afford urgent treatment and medicines. It greatly helped him survive the severity of the symptoms and his condition stabilized.

As of this writing, Marvin is still in the hospital and the running bill is now more than a million. As with other people struggling through the pandemic nowadays, we weren't prepared mentally and financially for this. We just knew we had to do everything to keep our brother alive. He is only in his early thirties and has a solid life ahead of him. He has always wanted to serve in the academe, and we pray he be granted more years to serve in this ministry.
