Keeping Our Family Together

First I would like to thank you for at least visiting this page and reading a little into our backstory and hopefully helping our family stay together. I will not go into a long drawn out story with every detail, but I will lay out the facts and the situation we are in today.

In the summer of 2016 I returned from a year long military deployment overseas. Not only was it 110+ degrees everyday I was over there and dealing with unimaginable living arrangements, but the worst part was not seeing my wife and kids for a year, so you can imagine the happiness I felt the day I returned back home to them!

Within just a few short weeks of returning home however, the joy ended and the pain and shock of something new set in....I was informed by my Ex-wife that she had taken a job out of state, almost 3 hours away and she was moving in a few days and taking my son with her!

I immediately hired an Attorney to fight to keep my son with my Wife and I and to try and eventually gain custody of him full-time.

Over the past several years my ex-wife and I had been divorced, she was the Primary parent meaning my son lived with her on a full-time basis according to the court, however due to her jobs, school and social life, I had my son over 75% of the time, so in reality, I was the primary parent. Since June 2016, my ex-wife has paid Nothing in child care for our son!

Over the past 10 months since the news of her moving and trying to take my son with her, we have been to court and hearings and I was awarded permission to keep my son full-time and him live with me! This as you can imagine was a Huge win, however, it was only a temporary decision until a final hearing could be set with the court. In the last 10 months Myself and my Wife Lauren have been in and out of court fighting this battle along with our Attorney and as you could imagine, lawyers are not cheap yet they are almost a necessity.

100% of My savings from my deployment that should have been spent on my son besides having to fight for him in court as well as a few small credit cards we had are now exhausted to the max and we unfortunately had to let our amazing attorney go due to not being able to afford him. As you can imagine, this puts us at a big disadvantage in the Courtroom and in front of the Judge and the sad part is, We are so close to the end of what we feel almost for certain is a winning case for our Family!!

This is where we turn to you, Our Family, Friends and those who can and would like to help.

We are not asking for millions of dollars, but only for the cost to finish our case and to keep my son with us full-time and not have our family torn apart.

Every dollar at this point would help and 100% will be used to re-hire our Attorney and have him fight for us at our final hearing.
