Campaign Story
Hi, I'm Martin Takishita and I'm currently working towards the rank of Eagle Scout. My project will consist of building two portable storage containers. One of these containers will be used as storage for the Saugus High School drumline's stadium stands that they use for football games. This will allow the percussion storage room to be more organized so the stadium stands aren't lying around on the floor. The portable storage will be divided into two sections for better organization between the stands. It will be made out of plywood and have rubber wheels at the bottom. The other cart will be used to store the new plumes that the Marching Centurions recently got with their new uniforms. This container will have will also be made out of plywood and have rubber wheels at the bottom but, it will have wooden dowels running along the inside so that the plumes can be hung up. For the final part of my project, I will be building a plaque for the 334 trophy plaques that the band has earned in the last 40 years. This plaque will be made out of plywood and a mounting system will be made.
