Martin Fahy – Pleural Mesothelioma

My father was diagnosed with Pleural Mesothelioma, in the month of June. He was going through so much pain before his lung collapsed fluid was from the top of his shoulder to by his hip, left any longer would of died. Luckily was rushed into hospital after seeing the doctor, finally he had seen how seriously it was. He was brought to three different hospital's, finally after all the horrible long months, he had surgery in which they discovered dad had cancer. He has gone through so much already and of course there will be quite alot more, but whatever donations my father gets will be put forward to sending him to another country for different treatment which will be a lot more beneficial.

He is an amazing man, great father and the best husband. He has worked all his life to make a better life for his whole family, everyone loves him, he is such a gentleman. Anyone who has known him, could never say a bad word about him. This has only happened to him, as years back when he was first working In the building trade as a Carpentar, he was exposed to Asbestos daily, back then no one warned them of the dangers this material would have caused for anyone, as nothing was ever tested. So the safety procedures where not put there, conciquence of all this, from this material been attacking his body. No symptoms, as it is known as a hidden killer, has given my father Cancer.

It has been a shock to all, especially to Martin, but with family & friends by his side, we're going to help him get through this but need as much support as possible.
