We are the first Martial Arts School on the West Coast that has opened a location dedicated to teaching individuals with developmental disabilities.
4 months ago we made the decision to pursue this path... with no expectation of opening up a physical location, but 2 months in we were so strongly encouraged to do so by the community that 1 month later we found ourselves with keys in our hands!
We have come this far with a lot of help from upstairs and those around us and must say, we really have just been along for the ride.
But we are not done yet and we need help to finish. We are asking 1,000 people to donate $20 each to raise funds to cover the rest of our buildout and operating costs until we are fully up and running!
We can only achieve this WITH you. Please help us by sharing, spreading the word and donating - ALL amounts add up and are appreciated!
We dedicate this to our youngest Miracle Sister, Loyda.
16 years ago the doctors told our family that our little sister who was born with Down Syndrome would not walk or talk. Today she doesn't stop dancing and singing. Thanks to our mothers hard work taking her to all her therapy sessions and all the years she spent training in the martial arts with us, those doctors were proven wrong. That's why my sister Lala, my wife Sara and I decided to start a martial arts program specifically for those with special needs and learning disabilities.

3. Outdoor Business Sign & Bann...
Completed
Those signs you see on the outside of businesses above their front entrance? Yeah, turns out they're expensive. So we will be ordering a banner until we can save up funds for the luxury of a permanent sign above our door.
4. Office Desk & Supplies

These are things we need for our business to function... a desk, chairs for our parents to sit in, a printer, paper, pens, business cards, flyers & marketing materials, start up costs for internet etc.
5. Permits & Neverending City F...
Upcoming
While annual permits and fees will be an ongoing relationship, the amount it takes to START a new business is overwhelming and the city doesn't give us any heads up about how much it's going to cost the next time we go. Anything here helps.

A before and after of initial clean up when we got keys!A LOT of trash and all the carpet had be ripped up and pulled out by hand. Mr. Figgy's hands to be exact.What will be the color scheme?
