Martha VS. MS

January this year, I got the diagnosis Multiple Sclerosis (MS) – a demyelinating disease in which the insulating covers of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord are damaged. The disease evolves, and today I already have challenges with my sight, balance and with walking.

Stem cell treatment (HSCT) is not available for me in my home country, Norway. Thus, I will do as 80 other Norwegians before me: Go abroad in order to take the treatment. This way, I would get the opportunity to stop the deterioration of my health and avoid becoming an expense for the community.

I need to pay for the treatment myself. But I cannot make it on my own. I therefore kindly ask for all the financial support that I could get in order to take the treatment.

A stem cell treatment will cost around 600 000 NOK. I already have 250 000 NOK, but would need to fundraise the remaining 350 000 NOK on my own. I appreciate all the help I could get.

Any remaining funds will be donated to the Norwegian MS organization.
