THE MAN
Marshawn Lynch is the star running back for the Seattle Seahawks in this year's Super Bowl. He is also a committed and devoted mentor to young people in Oakland California, the city where he is from and where he runs football clinics and mentors hundreds of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
THE FINES
Unfortunately, the NFL has fined the Seattle Seahawks running back $100,000 for not addressing the media during interviews. Marshawn has been fined on multiple occassions for not subjecting himself to the barrage of questioning that comes with pre and post game interviews.
THE ANXIETY
He is clearly uncomfortable with the freestyle and aggressive nature of engaging the press in that type of process and is paying a hefty price for his anxiety.
THE SUPPORT
We however, support his right not to speak. Additionally, we support him and his charitable work with disadvantaged youth in the city of Oakland California.
THE YOUTH
This fund is to show our support for Marshawn Lynch and to go toward his charitable work with disadvantaged youth in the city of Oakland. Let those who support his right not to speak support this fund. Let the 12th man in Seattle stand up for Marshawn Lynch and support this fund. We support Marshawn Lynch's right not to speak and the youth of Oakland California.
