SG$5,670.00raised of SG$10,000.00 goal goal
Hello everyone I'm Mark Kearney. I have participated in 14 Ironman across the world in the past 11 years.
This year for my 15th race, I'll be participating in the Ironman World Championships 2022 at Kona.
I'll be dedicating this race to TANZA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL at Navotas, Philippines.
I would like to seek your help to raise these funds to help the students of this school.
Mark Kearney's Ironman Journey
My Ironman journey started at IM Busselton in late 2011 and this ignited my passion to drive my wellness, and fitness and also complete more races.
On my 50th birthday, I challenged myself to finish 4 Ironman races in a year.
In 2019, I pre-qualified for Kona World Championships but the pandemic happened and I have to wait for almost 3 years to participate.
My latest race was at Lanzarote. The harsh terrains of Lanzarote gave me perspective on what I need to prepare for the upcoming world championships. I dare say by far this is my hardest race.
14 completed races. 8 countries. 4 continents.
It all boils down to this year's Ironman World Championships 2022.
Tanza Elementary School - Navotas, Metro Manila
A local school located near the heart of Metro Manila, it caters to students from two barangays namely, Tanza 1 and 2 since it is the only public elementary school in the area .
It currently has around 3500 students which are in need of support in terms of their school supplies like books and laptops, facilities improvement and classrooms renovations.
I have chosen to support and raise funds to this school as I personally have seen how hard working and smart their teachers and students are, and how they have shown resiliency during the pandemic.
