Mark’s fight against Lupus

I created this campaign for my high school friend Mark. Mark has Lupus and in need of some help, love and prayers. ❤

We are raising funds to help him pay his medical needs and get back in his feet. He was always one of the active ones in our class, joining all contests he could join in arts and academics. He was also part of our student government. He is always a fighter but in this BATTLE he needs our HELP and SUPPORT.

Lupus, also called SLE, is an autoimmune disease. This means that the body's natural defense system (immune system) attacks healthy tissues instead of attacking only things like bacteria and viruses. Lupus can affect the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs. While there's no cure for Lupus, current treatments focus on improving quality of life through controlling symptoms, minimizing flare ups and further disease management.

He is the breadwinner of his family and because of this disease he cant work to pay for his medical needs. So we are asking for some help. No matter how much. Even just a P20 extra from your week's budget will go a long way and if you spread the word and have 4 other friends donate P20 each, sooner it will be enough to help mark be healthy again. Or to my friends here in US, a $1 can help someone get back on his feet. I know we all have our own struggles, but if you'll be able to help in any form, sharing his gogetfunding site, prayers, love, or by donating, WE TRULY APPRECIATE IT.

In this time when there's so many negativities happening, probably we can help change the world by just helping someone like Mark fight his battle.
