Thanx to you all, house constructing has started. Everithing you can see in the pic below. Thanx once again!
On 19th march 2021, a house is detailed checked and it gets red label wich means that the house is no longer to be used in anny conditions and it means that it cannot be repaired it needs to be rebild from the schratch.
On 29th December 2020, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit the small town Petrinja, Croatia claiming 7 lives, destroying many buildings and houses and displacing thousands of people from their homes. Marko Hernaut lived just 10km from the epicentre in Sisak with his wife and four children. In just 20 seconds their home was destroyed and their lives devastatingly disrupted. Their house was certified unsafe and uninhabitable by construction experts, after seeking four different opinions. The family are currently separated, with Marko and his wife living in a small mobile house and their 4 kids are 90km away with family members as the mobile house is too small for a family of six. With costs of repairing the house much higher than rebuilding from scratch the family desperately need funds to get the process started in order to be reunited and start living a normal life again.
The state will take applications for the chance of 80% of costs to be covered in about 6 months, but this process could last for a year or more and success is not a certainty. This process is still ongoing from the earthquake in Zagreb in March 2020. The urgency is here and now, not in 6 months time. Please help and donate as much or as little as you can so this family can start to rebuild their lives. Thank you
