I am developing a bibliography for the maritime search & rescue (SAR) community. It offers a listing of knowledge-sources/publications from various maritime safety groups in various countries. It will therefore contribute to the discipline and to public safety by helping to share knowledge and awareness of maritime SAR, standards, and training practices. A companion spreadsheet document is being developed as well. In all, it can serve as a single knowledge source for the industry. Academics will also find it useful.
PURCHASE a COPY.
To purchase an electronic copy of the current version, please both (1) contact me expressing that, and (2) donate 40 USD via this page. (FYI: without #1, it will be considered a donation, not a purchase)
Any donations will help maintain the bibliography by providing a means and time to sustainably develop it. Support will allow me to make updates, corrections, additions, and develop versions with alternative citation formats, categorizations and cross-reference systems.
NOTE: For an additional fee or donation, electronic copies of particular listings can be provided. Please contact for details.
This work is an expression of my passion for (and my job-search in) maritime SAR. I've given extensive volunteership over the years, sacrificing a lot of personal resources in the process, and this is just another example of my creativity and passion for this field that I love. But I cannot sustainably work on these service efforts to reach my life service goals without your help. So I hope my personal efforts (like this) will get noticed by someone who may afford a stable job to serve in maritime safety & SAR. (My professional goal is to be a first-responder on rescue boats, or otherwise join a maritime SAR organization) I have multiple projects like this to contribute to the maritime safety & SAR community.
Thank you for your support.
