My name is Marissa, I am a 28 year old married mother of 6 beautiful children. I have been attending the University of Phoenix online Psychology program and am hoping to transfer to Colorado State University to continue my Psychology major. I have A's in all my classes as well as a 4.0 GPA. My husband works full time as a barber and I work 12 hour overnights at a manufacturing company. The tuiton for University of Phoenix is around $50,000 for a bachelors degree and I am only recieving loans to cover part of that cost. By September i will be out of loans and $3000 short for the semester(picture added). If I am accepted to CSU, the cost will remain almost the same. My estimated graduation date is 2020. I am in need of some help because although my husband and I work more than 40 hours a week, most of our expenses go to all our children, two of whom are having medical issues with progressive hearing loss. My goal is to raise money to help pay tuiton expenses, as well as book fees, testing fees, etc. I would like to be the first person in many generations in my family to attend a 4 year University and graduate, as well as make my kids proud of me.Anything donated will only be used for school expenses. Even if its a 1$, I am grateful. Thank you.

I had my CSU campus tour today and it really confirmed my desire of transferring to this school. Such history and a close community. My alternative high school history is under review, which is a good sign. I am probably keeping this parking pass for life, a true souvenir from
