On October 25th, my husband, the father of my children and your friend Mario suffered a severe Ischemic Stroke (blood clots in the arteries that supply blood to the brain).
Mario has been in the ICU ever since and his condition has become severe due to pneumonia in his lungs and stiff heart valves. Currently he has just come out of surgery to remove part of his skull which had to be carried out due to his swollen brain and to prevent the brain from pressing into other organs. He is currently in poor condition after the surgery, as his brain stem is not responding to any signs of life. Doctors continue to struggle to restore him.

We are trying to do our best for him to recover quickly from his current critical condition.

Mario has always been our backbone and hope.
He who is always energetic and passionate, now has to lie limp helplessly. Seeing him hanging on to the wires and machines that sustain his life for the time being, really hurts. Mario is a fighter, and he will keep on trying to get up. But because of the limitations and high costs, we think we should seek donations for him.
Mario is uninsured at this time. And the hospital bill can be around 1000-2000 USD per day not including any surgeries or special treatment he might need, and we still don’t know how long he will be in the hospital.

Please help him fight to get out of this critical period. We hope that financial support and will come from all friends & everybody who knows him or from anyone who has a high sense of concern.

Sahabat, saat ini kami sangat membutuhkan bantuan & dukungan Anda.
Pada tanggal 25 Oktober, suami saya, ayah dari anak-anak saya dan teman Anda Mario terkena Stroke Iskemik parah ( pembekuan darah dalam pembuluh arteri yg mensuplai darah ke otak).
Mario telah berada di ICU sejak itu dan kondisinya menjadi parah karena penyakit pneumonia yang ada pada paru dan katup jantungnya yg kaku. Saat ini dia baru saja keluar dari operasi pengangkatan sebagian tengkorak kepala yang harus dijalankan karena otaknya yg membengkak dan demi mencegah otak menekan kedalam organ lain. Saat ini dia dalam kondisi yang buruk setelah operasi, karena batang otaknya tidak memberikan respon yang menunjukan kehidupan. Dokter-dokter terus berjuang untuk memulihkannya.

Kami berusaha memberikan yang terbaik untuknya agar cepat pulih dari kondisi kritis saat ini.

Mario selama ini adalah tulang punggung & harapan kami. Dia yang energik & ber semangat, kini harus tergolek lemas tanpa daya. Melihatnya bergantung pada kabel2 dan mesin mesin yg menopang hidupnya sementara ini, sungguh menyakitkan. Mario adalah pejuang, dan dia akan berusaha terus untuk bangkit. Tapi karena keterbatasan dan biaya yang tinggi membuat kami berpikir untuk mencari donasi untuknya.
Mario tidak mempunyai asuransi saat ini. Dan tagihan rumah sakit bisa sekitar Rp.15,000,000 - Rp.30,000,000 per hari tidak termasuk operasi atau perawatan khusus yang mungkin dia butuhkan, dan kami masih belum tahu berapa lama dia akan berada di rumah sakit.

Il 25 ottobre Mario Gierotto, mio marito e il padre dei miei figli ha subito un grave ictus ischemico (coaguli di sangue nelle arterie che forniscono sangue al cervello).
Da allora Mario è in terapia intensiva e le sue condizioni sono peggiorate a causa di una polmonite e dai suoi problemi cardiaci. E’ stato sottoposto ad un intervento chirurgico di rimozione di una parte del cranio eseguita a causa di un rigonfiamento del cervello (craniotomia). Attualmente le sue condizioni sono gravi poiché il suo tronco cerebrale non risponde a nessun segno di vita.
Stiamo cercando di fare del nostro meglio per garantirgli le migliori cure.
Mario è sempre stato la nostra spina dorsale e la nostra speranza. Sempre energetico e appassionato. Vederlo aggrappato ai fili e alle macchine che sostengono la sua vita per il momento, fa davvero male. Mario è un combattente e continuerà a cercare di rialzarsi. Ma a causa della nostra situazione economica e dei costi elevati, siamo costretti a chiedere il Vostro aiuto.
Tragicamente proprio nel 2021 Mario e’ stato costretto ad interrompere la polizza assicurativa per gravi problemi finanziari. Le spese ospedaliere si aggirano intorno ai 1500 dollari al giorno senza includere interventi chirurgici e trattamenti speciali di cui avra’ bisogno.
Ci auguriamo che il sostegno finanziario venga da tutti gli amici e tutti coloro che lo conoscono o da chiunque possa avere a cuore il suo caso.
