Campaign Story
Hello everyone.
First of all, thank you very much for reading this post.
Right now, my grandmother, Marina M. Tan is battling with her sickness at Mary Johnston Hospital in Tondo.
Last October 01, 2019, My uncle, Eduardo found out that she was struggling to breathe and was unresponsive. Panicked, he called my mom, Rose and my auntie Vangie and later that morning, we struggled to bring her to the hospital.
Seven of them (My dad, mom, uncles and some good Samaritan peeps) carried Lola's bed to the van. After series of checks, it seems that the doctor decided to ask for our consent in putting a tube (tracheal tube) to let her breathe because it seems that cannot do that anymore. She's really having a hard time breathing due to the blockage of phlegm in her lungs (which is already in the half of her lungs.. soon it will block everything)
A lot of us were thinking about the tube if its okay or not but we decided to go with it. The doctor also said that she should be moved to ICU so that they could remove the phlegm in her lungs but the thing is that, ICU costs 15,000/day excluding the apparatuses and we can only afford that for a couple of days (2 to 3 days at least)
I know this is a lot to ask but I would like to knock at your hearts in helping us to make our Lola stay longer with us even just for a week. An extension that will make us be with her and helping with her fight.
For those who wanted to help us, Please PM me, Kimberly Tan Abaroa, Rosemarie Tan Abaroa or Evangeline Tan Fernandez on Facebook if you wanted to direct the donation on the bank (that method is much better than this) You may also donate here at this fundraiser. Any amount would suffice.
To anyone who wanted to visit her, she's at the ICU of Mary Johnston Hospital. (just an update, for those who are not our relatives, you cannot go inside the ICU. I apologize for this)
Address: 1221 J Nolasco, Tondo, Maynila, 1012 Kalakhang Maynila
Please also pray for her well-being.
Again, thank you for reading and God Bless you.
