Im Aimee Marie Ranola, from Philippines, 26 years old.

Before I got sick I have a small business cupcake shop. but due to my sickness my business was closed. As of now I don't have any source of income to sustain my lifetime medical expenses. I'm searching for a help because my family spend so much with my first hospitalization.

Last Oct 7, 2016 my mom found me in bed she thought I was sleeping but I was not waking up, then she rang the hospital for an ambulance, on that day the doctor found out I have hydrocephalus that caused me into coma, the doctor advised my mom that I'll be having a brain surgery ASAP.

Oct 8, 2016 The next morning the family decided to bring me to Manila to have the procedure done. The only way to bring me to manila is to be airlifted.

When we arrive to manila 3 Neuro surgeon attended to me, they make some Neuro test they found out that it is not just a normal hydrocephalus. Then they found out It was a brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM is a tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in the brain). They said it was congenital I have it since the day I was born. They also found out that my brain was blocked by blood and water, on that night the doctors decided to put a tube in my brain to drain the water, blood and to lessen the pressure. I was still in coma I stayed in Neuro ICU.

Oct 22, 201 still in coma at Neuro ICU. after draining the blood and water, the doctor decided to put a cerebral shunt on the left side of my brain (Cerebral shunts are commonly used to treat hydrocephalus, the swelling of the brain due to excess buildup of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). If left unchecked, the cerebrospinal fluid can build up leading to an increase in intracranial pressure (ICP) which can lead to intracranial hematoma, cerebral edema, crushed brain tissue or herniation. The cerebral shunt can be used to alleviate or prevent these problems in patients who suffer from hydrocephalus or other related diseases. Shunts can come in a variety of forms but most of them consist of a valve housing connected to a catheter, the end of which is usually placed in the peritoneal cavity. The main differences between shunts are usually in the materials used to construct them, the types of valve (if any) used, and whether the valve is programmable or not. November 7, 2016 I was transferred in a private room. But wasn't in coma anymore. But still can't able to move. There was more procedure that has been done to me, example Occupational therapy, physical therapy etc...

November 29, 2016 the doctor decided for another procedure it is Gamma knife procedure for my right brain. The Gamma Knife is used to treat brain tumors by administering high-intensity cobalt radiation therapy in a manner that concentrates the radiation over a small volume. Dec 9, 2016 I was discharge from hospital, but still I couldn't move during that time.

Little by little I was recovering from home, having therapy and other take home medications

May 18, 2017 I was sent to the hospital because of high fever & vomiting I was admitted for 2weeks, I was being observed The doctor found out that I had bacteria then the doctor required me to have antibiotics for 2 months every 6 hours.

As of now I have a maintenance medicine and continues check ups (scans) and lab exams.

I am hoping that you could help me with my condition
