Marco Polo Tomas and His wish

This is Marco Polo C. Tomas, 26 years old, a father of two, a good husband and brother. He had an accident last February 23, 2019, on his way going to work.

He was confined at World Citi Medical Center last February 23, 2019, to March 1, 2019. The surgery was made and the doctor put some metal in his right leg to connect the fractured bones (as described in the photo).

For the past 5 months, he wasn't able to walk because of the weight of the metal he carried on his leg. He attended some of his follow-up check-ups in Philippine Orthopedic Center (A Government Hospital under the Department of Health, Philippines) to finally remove the metal on his right leg.

Finally, the metal on his leg was finally removed. Unfortunately, the doctor advised again to pursue the last step of the surgery which is tentatively scheduled this August 23, 2019. Since we don't have enough fund for this, we have to rescheduled it by September.

We are asking for your good hearts to help us in our expense for the upcoming surgery scheduled this coming September 27, 2019. The salary of Marco Polo from his job was already stopped because of his condition.

His wife is selling soap to pay for the expenses of the check-ups, food, milk for her children, and other hospitals expenses.

The estimated expense of the metal that will be used for the next surgery is 150,00 pesos. As of today, we don't receive any communication or assistance from the side of the driver who made this to him.

We did ask help from the charity of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and got the Guarantee letter amounting of 20, 000 pesos. As of now, we are waiting for the assistance coming from Department of Social Welfare and Development.
