Marathon Run To Support Family’s

Hi I am Stephen Breen

Just over a year ago at 56 I was diagnosed with as a diabetic and since then I have worked hard to be able to get this under control. Now I want to help others with illness's and children are the most important people to me.

With that in mind I decided to do something I did back in 1994 when I was younger and healthier. Run a marathon for charity,

I need your help, without you I cannot accomplish my goal of raising

I have seen firsthand how this organization helps children and families.

On October 9th, I will be representing Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon! As a member of Team RMHC, I will be training, fundraising and ultimately running 26.2 miles to help keep families close.

Since 1974, RMHC has been

making children happier and healthier by keeping families together – giving them a place to rest and refresh. A place that feels like home. By supporting me, you too can join RMHC's network of HOPE, STRENGTH and SUPPORT, by supporting my efforts to raise $1,500.00

$25 can provide dinner for a family, $80 can give a family a room for a night. Your donation, of any amount, will not only help me achieve my goal, but will help children stay close to their families when they need it most!

If you donate on this site I will guarantee that all fund will be contributed to the RMHC organization 100% none will go towards the cost of the race registration or anything else, I paid the $185.00 cost myself plus $25.00 to get started on this mission. At 57 years old this may be the last time I can physically take on this type of challenge in support of others and I would be extremely thankful for your help
