The Mapúa Cardinal Singers, being the official resident choir of Mapua University, is composed of a dedicated youth who are passionate for the choral arts. The group aims to be known for their world-class performance with high artistic quality that inspires and encourages love for choral music. Since 2004, the group has been joining various national and international competitions, attaining several achievements; their recent recognition being the Silver Prize Award in Classical Mixed Category held in Busan Choral Festival Competition in Busan, South Korea.
Recently, the group has been invited to join the "7th Bali International Choir Festival" in Indonesia this coming July 23 to 29, 2018, to compete in two categories against other choirs worldwide. In that event, the group hopes to raise enough funds for the tour's overall expenses that can cover accommodation and airfare packages enough for 35 choristers, each needing to obtain at least PHP 30000.
