Mana Island Primary School, Fiji

Mana Island Primary School is a community school based on the island of Mana, Fiji. After visiting the school in February 2013 we saw how much the children loved school and what it meant to them to have an education. The only problem was that there was only 3 classrooms, very limited equipment and resources for both children and teachers.

What we aim to do is raise money for the school for 3 different reasons:

1) Build an extra classroom for the school.

2) Provide the school with essentials such as tables, chairs, stationery, sports equipment and laptops.

3) Take a group of pupils to Australia to experience the difference in culture; travel on a plane, meet different people, learn how to surf and experience what a city is.

All the money you give will help to fund this project which is very close to our hearts. The people of the island would benefit hugely from every single donation that you could give. The children are very happy and don't let their disadvantages get them down. Providing them with a visa to visit Australia or presenting them with a new bag, book and pen would give them the biggest smile imaginable.
