MAMA-LOLA LINDA's CONTINUOUS MEDICATION.

Linda Cañete Solis, 73 years old, or Mama Linda as I call her, is a loving mother to her three children and to anyone who knows her. Being a close friend of her son Glen, I was able to witness her kind and loving heart, too.

Last August 2018, she suffered from a severe stroke and septic shock making her half body to be paralyzed. She was confined at Parañaque Doctors Hospital for almost 2 months.

As of the moment, she was discharged at the hospital and was allowed to continue her medication at home. However, she’s still on Tracheostomy intubation that is connected to a mechanical ventilator, bedridden and feeds on NGT. Their family's expenses for the rent of mechanical ventilator, oxygen, medical supplies, laboratory examinations, medicines and NGT food ranges from Php 45-50,000 weekly. She also needs to undergo a physical therapy so she can retrain her healthy braincells that controls her affected body parts and recover from stroke.
