Mama Judith’s Recovery Fund

Some of you may not know yet, but Mama (Edita/Judith Cinco) is currently fighting for her life and we need your help. She’s in a critical condition in ICU.

Last April 17, 2018 at 6 AM, Mama was rushed to the nearest ER because the right side of her body was paralyzed and couldn’t speak a word. We knew right there that it’s a stroke. The first 24 hours was a breeze, she’s showing good signs and was smiling at our jokes.

Not until the next day, when we had a 2nd round of CT scan. Her neurologist mentioned that the swelling on her left brain worsened earlier than expected. It’s not a normal phasing for a less-than-48-hour stroke patient.

Now, we’ve approached 72 hours. She’s given a medication to lessen the swelling. She’s also sedated to lessen the brain activities and lessen the blood flow pressure on her brain. But that can’t be done for a long time. They’ve offered us another option: to have a major procedure that will temporarily detach part of her skull to give more space for the swelling to breathe. The procedure would cost us approximately P300,000 and other hospital fees are not included yet.

Family, friends and strangers, we need your help to fund Mama’s medical expenses. Although my brother and I have day-time jobs, it’s not enough to cover it all.

Ever since I can remember, Mama has done so much for everyone that’s dear to her heart. She’s the most selfless person we know. We believe she deserves to live longer and survive this rough battle. Help us make that happen and see her contagious smile again. She's all we have.
