A second mom, that is what she is to me. Her name is Jocelyn R. Omaña, 57 years old is now admitted to a Covid-19 facility here in our country. Mama Joy's family rushed her to the hospital last night because she was complaining about shortness of breath, she undergoes a swab test and tested positive for antigen. Prior to this, she just went out of the hospital about 2 weeks ago due to pneumonia and mild stroke. The doctor also diagnosed her with kidney failure due to high blood pressure which leads to several mild strokes that were unnoticeable until her body started to deteriorate. Her youngest son, Zander who is friend of mine and the one taking care of her mom finds it so agonizing watching her in that situation. Right after her quarantine period in the facility, the doctor advised the family that Mama Joy should immediately undergo dialysis treatment, a lifelong battle that her family and friends hope that she can endure. Their family already run out of funds, Mama Joy's hospital bill during her first confinement reach around P120,000. Due to lack of money, they just signed a promisory for the hospital to allow them to go home. On behalf of her husband Manuel, her children Jay-ar, Claudine and Zander, her friends and all those whose loves her dearly, we are humbly asking those who could extend help to us for the medical expenses of Mama Joy. She is still young and her children always dreamt of giving their mom a good life as a way of giving back all the love and sacrifices she selflessly give for their family. Please help Mama Joy to surpass this ordeal. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. I know that through prayers, God's mercy and guidance and your help Mama Joy will eventually win this battle.
