Malaysian Students for Sri Lanka Emergency Relief

Hello everyone, If you are visiting this GoFundMe page, you are aware of the horrifying events that unfolded in Sri Lanka on the 21st of April 2019. There have been eight major explosions that have taken the lives of almost 359 innocent people with an additional 600+ injured.

We, the Sri Lankan community in Malaysia feel that our loved ones, families, friends and general population back in Sri Lanka are in facing shortages of resources during this time of need. We believe it is our responsibility to do all that we can to help those in need.

This GoFundMe page has been set up by the students of the Sri Lankans of the Malaysian universities and schools to raise $2500 for emergency relief. This is in no means a limit but a minimal goal. ($1=174.64 Sri Lankan Rupee where $2 is more than enough to cover a meal)

We have banded together with many different nationalities towards this goal in hopes of including as many people as possible. Donations are not limited to Malaysian residents or students nor is it only limited to Sri Lankans. Please spread the word.
