In a country like Malawi in Southern Africa which has been experiencing SEVERE food crisis for decades, 37% of Malawian children are severely undernourished and suffer from stunted growth.
Why is this so? Being one of the poorest countries in the world, rural Malawians usually rely on smallholder farming to harvest only enough to sustain their families. To make things worse, with unexpected weather trends, Malawi’s staple food, maize, has been negatively affected in the last decade.
However, not all hope is lost. Specially formulated for MALNOURISHED children, VitaMeal comprises all the KEY nutrients (carbohydrates, protein, fat and fibre) they require for proper growth.
