Malapascua is a small island off of the coast of Northern Cebu in the Philippines. Due to the isolation many children and adults on the island lack access to proper medical care. When someone is in need of emergency medical attention they are forced to travel to the main island’s hospital several hours away. This is inefficient and costly. Our goal is raise money to provide a sustainable source of basic medical care and a source of health education. We also aim to provide educational funding to support the local school on Malapascua. Keeping children in school is a way to safeguard against human trafficking and help the children invest in a better future.
