Campaign Story
I’m creating this GoGetFunding page as my true self, Adam. This is to ease both my mak and ayah’s situation. I myself had already chipped in as much as I could to give back what she had been giving me my entire life, although in reality it’s just a fraction of what she’s done for me.
12:00AM, 6th of November 2023, mak started vomiting profusely. The yellow gastric acids started force its way out, but that’s not completely alarming just yet as it was seen as another food poisoning symptom. But mak’s belly area was giving her an incredible amount of pain, as explained by ayah, the only person who was beside her in Sungai Petani. He alarmed us childrens at 2am, brought mak to a hospital. Doctor gave mak painkillers at the emergency ward, and after a brief inspection at the time, she seemed to have calmed down a little. Ayah brought mak back home as instructed by the medical officers, and was told to come back in the morning later on for further inspection (scans, colonoscopy etc). At 5am, things were suddenly getting worse, the pain came back and nothing was showing positive progress but the other way around. After mak regained her energy back, ayah brought mak to the hosp again. Long story short, that night got so much worse that the doctor decided instead of conducting the surgery the next day (7th Nov), he has to do the surgery immediately. This decision was made because a specialist doctor made a physical inspection, and alhamdulillah made the right diagnosis. Then, mak and ayah proceeded with the surgery, since the doctor said “this is the only way”.
I was still in KL. That morning, I just came back from work (overnight). After catching enough sleep, that very night mak was being brought into the operation theatre, I picked my brother up from Sg Buloh, and drove straight back to Sg Petani, Kedah. We arrived at the hospital around 2:45am and found mak in her room.
So far, alhamdulillah it’s looking bright, the surgery has positive impact. But this morning (7th Nov) I’ve made known to the estimated price of the surgery alone.
Minimum cost : RM20,000
Maximum cost : RM35,000
Ayah made the decision to save mak’s life first, and ready for the cost later. He told me he will take care of it all, although I do know the real situation is much harder than what he made it seem. Both mak and ayah is currently not aware of this page being created, and I’m not planning to tell them just yet, until the time comes for me to transfer any amount received here.
Any amount, RM1 or RM100, is very much appreciated.
My mindset of creating this funding page is just make a way for donations possible, nothing more. I am in no way solely hoping and fully relying on this page to help mak ayah, as will fully commit to helping them financially myself. This to me, is an open door for helping hands
Sorry for the long writing. Thank you everyone

Now the only thing that’s left attached to mak is the branula that’s dripping into her left wrist. She’s feeling a lot less tangled with tubes and cables. The detachment from the drain tube and gastric tube means that now she can start to eat. This is her first food after 3. . . . .
