Making children smile at Christmas

Mamatoto Aid International is a small NGO based in the Munich area and we are supporting local families in rural Ivory coast, Djébonoua, who are affected by the HIV epidemic. The majority of the recipience are women and children who experience hardship including hunger often through the absence of the bread winner in the household, are orphaned or are battling illness.

Like every year, with this specific Christmas campaign we would like to ensure that the families will be able to have food during the Festive season and that we may be able to give the children a small present. Their wishes are very humbled and many of the school children would just ask for pencils or new exercise books.

With 10 Euros you can ensure that we can by rice, beans and cooking oil and if you chip in a bit more the families will even be able to bring a chicken onto the Christmas plate 😊.
