Making a Home Lab for Computer Science Studies

Hi, I am a fresh graduate with a passion for Software Development. I was advised to build a home lab and work on personal projects to build up my knowledge and possibly gain experience to help me land a job when this pandemic is over. What I need is a computer that can at least run IDEs(Integrated Development Environment) for programming. My old laptop unfortunately broke down after 6 years of service, right as I was starting to work on building a career. The donations will go to either laptop repair or a new desktop setup

From this home laboratory, I will explore technologies that I think will help improve everyone’s lives in the future, I will toil on projects that will help smaller businesses, and my skills will improve. I believe I can do all these, I just need a chance to actually work on them.

The video linked is what I aspire to build. If the donations go over Php15,000, the extra money will go towards either other hardware(most likely a portable storage like an external hard drive or a USB thumb drive), or getting a computer with a higher specification, allowing me to also research and delve deeper into Android Development(Android Studio uses a lot of computer resources, causing performance issues for my old laptop).
