Ryan, Callum and Guy are training as Peer Coaches with Next Chapter (NW) CIC.

This means that they are investing 28 hours into learning the theory aspect of mentoring, to enable them to achieve an award in Peer Coaching.

As part of their training, they are voluntering on a 1 year project with Next Chapter (NW) CIC delivering an early intervention, positive mental health programme to 142 young people in their Wallasey Community. Alongside this training, they are fundraising for their visit Cape Town, South Africa for 11 days on 21st October 2016, in which they will volunteer, delivering motivational and team building coaching to children in Townships and across the area, experiencing the diversity in culture.

Our programme looks at the power of communities to make a difference and achieve our goals. Please, help them to #MakeitHappen2016 and raise the money they need to travel to South Africa. Together we are stronger.

  • What an amazing community project. It would be fantastic if more primary schools had your forward thinking vision. Our young people need inspiring, motivating and secondary school mentors who they can look up to, helping them make the right decisions at school. AFRICA WILL BE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR THESE YOUNG MENTORS WHO ARE ALL UNDER 16. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’―
