Help me change my family’s living condition just by buying a laptop

My name is Lennox Omondi 18yrs. I am a Kenyan and in Form 4. The challenges we face are really extreme and passing through them and becoming a person of worth to the community is nearly impossible if you don't get a hand. I reside in Kiambiu Slums, in Nairobi, with my mother. I've passed through a lot of challenges when growing up and I still face them even now as I speak. Gunshots have become my morning alarm. The slum is filled with many problems. I don't like where I live at; that's why I am working hard and taking my education seriously.
Even now that I'm in my final year of high school, studying is really a challenge because you also need to feed the family. After school, I pass through a cybercafe that belongs to a friend of mine and take Web Development lessons and obviously help so I can become handy an not get chased away. Sometimes the owner gives me $1 for supper and breakfasst. I've been helping him at the cyber for now 5 years.
Come end April, the owner of the cyber decided to relocate to another estate which is far from where I live. I felt so bad and saw all my dreams gone. That was when I saw the need to buy a laptop and continue doing my Computer Studies KCSE project which is to be collected by mid-July. I called the owner of the cyber and told him my problem and he gave me $50. I was really grateful. I checked and the laptop I wanted, that will run the heavy programs swiftly is a 3.0Ghz 4GB RAM laptop with costs $640 in the Kenyan market.
Why Laptop? The area I live at, we electricity for about 3hours a day. A laptop being portable, I can go to my classmate's house and work from there.
This week, the owner of the cyber, approached me, He knows my skills and he wanted me to develop for him a website for his NGO(yes he runs an NGO to help our slum). I was so excited to at last help someone who has helped me for the past 5 years without paying him a cent. After I get a laptop, God willing, I'll finish my national exams project and start on this NGO website.
