It’s clear and proven that Chemical Pollution harms lungs and immune system. So, is this allegation unbelievable? Why we have to suffer? I am to explain you something, spare me a couple minutes. Toxic Chemicals emission per year in USA, EU and Canada is up to 5 Mln tons. You are inhaling these toxic vapors each day, because they are exhausted with ventilation air from any Car Repair, any metalworking, any furniture manufacturing, printing facilities etc. etc. close to your neighborhood, maybe right behind your corner – and you all are in danger. Why, for heaven’s sake?

Authorities, who must control the pollution, like EPA (US) and IPPB (EU) say “We are not able to reduce pollution until we reduce the exhaust air amount. Otherwise the technology is extra expensive and business can’t afford it”.

If Enterprises were allowed to use recirculation technology, they would reduce air exhaust volume 10 folds, so the cost of prevention equipment might be decreased accordingly and everything would be “fine and rosy” – but NO! Impossible! Restricted! Result: we have stupid regulations, ancient 40-years-ago technology and no affordable way to resolve this.

EC Directive says if the business explains that costs to prevent pollution are too large, they may do nothing to stop pollution. The same rules are for USA. About a million small-medium enterprises in both EU and US pollute air each day with no control. Sometimes local authorities don’t even know the enterprise on their territory uses dangerous substances because that business is free of report they use some chemicals. How do you feel that?

This mess is absolutely due to the fact that another Authorities (OSHA and EN) see their job to care after the painter, who has the mask (see the photos). It would be a joke: “He doesn’t care that Authorities care”- if it hasn’t brought so bad results to all of us, the population.

What we can do, really? Both systems in EU and USA do not “see” us. They are not elected by people, they do not report to people and their job is to write papers at the Federal Level. You may protest, may write as many petitions as you wish, the only answer is as I got myself: ”Your opinion considered to be not relevant”. You may spend years protesting with no effect, we have 40 years already passed – do you want more?

We have just one legal weapon – a court. We can get court order to force them change the rules.

I want to claim those Authorities as incompetence. I’m going to claim them guilty in harm to the environment and harm to the people’s health. This job is to be expensive, lawsuits are always expensive. So I need your help in this, I need your financial support to pay professional lawyers.
