My family and I have been rescuing strays especially cats. We have more than 20 of them right now. Last year, I started having them neutered and adopted.
Before there are sponsors for the neutering project and TNVR, but there are none as of the moment since businesses are down due to the pandemic. Having known this reality, I also saved money for their spay surgery; however, we have a cat with feline leukemia, FIV and enlarged liver (that is only one cat)
a cat with bronchopneumonia (she passed away)
and rescued kittens that needed Duphalyte injection and other medical care.
During those times I was always at the vet clinic. My savings were used up. Now I am knocking on your generous and kind hearts to please help our stray community. My family and I feed them regularly and we do not want them to get pregnant over and over again. Their lives are already difficult as strays, and become more difficult when they deliver kittens just anywhere. I named the calico tabby Sky and the black one Sabrina. Both are suspected to be pregnant. If I wait any longer, it will be hard to have them spayed. Their photos above were sent by my neighbors, for they enter random houses and get food. Some neighbors are already annoyed, so I fear for their safety too. The problem is not the strays. It is the people who do not neuter their pets and abandon them. Let us not make them pay for the crime that they did not commit.
