Why Is It Important to help?

It is important because the future is in our generation's hands. We are here to help the world become a better place to live in. People to People is a program founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in the year 1956 in a war-ravaged world as a peacful solution to it. His vision was to give everyday citizens in different countries opportunities to get to know each other, hoping that through this the result would be understanding, friendship and lasting peace. And now, we are all working towards that goal. I can be part of this wonderful aim.

What will I do there?

By going there, I will be able to learn about the latest technology around to help our present and future lives. I will also get to work on a project dealing with robotics. I will meet representatives from Apple, Facebook, Adobe, Electronic Arts and/or Zynga Games. I will also get to go to the Apple Campus at Cupertino and visit the Apple Store, visit San Fransico, get to meet astronaut Roger Crouch and get to a whole lot of exciting things!

 What I would like to bring back.

What I really want to bring back is my experiences and memories and share it with the world. It will be a once in a lifetime expierence for me. It will be very nice to come home and present my new friends to my family. And if I get this, next year, I may go as a student ambassador.

My Future

As an Ambassador I will have greater than an 80% chance of being accepted into the college of my choice. Through this opportunity I hope to develop a clearer picture for my future.
