Help My Brother

As far as introductions go, I'm a teenage sister that has a brother who faces a lot of difficulties functioning in the everyday scenarios. The reasons for this are that he is a carrier of a multitude of disorders, such as AvPD, Autism, OCD and ADD diagnosed. He has a real difficulty spending time around anyone, he spends most of his days secluded in his room browsing the internet to entertain himself and keep sane. Whenever he is around people he tends to become very anxious (which for him means loss of breath and forget how to breathe, insane ache in his upper chest and extremely horrible thoughts according to the rest of us) and insecure. Many times when he starts getting uncomfortable around people after a while of hanging out or such, he tends to get crazy eyes and look around everywhere until he curls up close to a wall and rock back and forth. Once finding a secluded area he feels fine again.

These aren't your typical problems for an autistic person but it seems he has incorporated such reactions to interaction. He doesn't have many friends especially not in real life, this is because he has a difficult time being near people. He can't type to many either, and if someone that he does not feel comfortable with touches him he might become dangerous too.

Now with the introduction out of the way, what will this money go towards?

I am going to use these funds to assist my brother in practicing various of hobbies that may or may not include social interaction in some way or another. Learning an instrument, expressing himself through art, lyric or novels and be able to share and interact. He likes all of these hobbies but he isn't very developed in any of them. For some of these I need money to even let him begin and our family doesn't have that. However the biggest reason I wish to accumulate money is for him to travel. Travel to America from our Sweden. He has one friend that he talks to frequently, the only person he feel safe with, comfortable with and he can accept her very being just fine which is rare for him. I wish for him to travel across the Atlantic to meet her, stay over there and spend time with her and with her help attempt solving many of his issues. (He's also in love with her and perhaps he can get something going there too!! But she doesn't know that, we think..) He said they'd definitely visit central park, hence the picture!

These are selfish reasons to ask of strangers' money, but my family has insisted on attempting whatever I can to help him. I would usually never ask for anyone to do anything for me or my brother nor would he, but at this point, he feels so very uncomfortable every day that even he wishes to see a difference.

TL;DR: An autistic teenager with multiple disorders experiencing a LOT of difficulties living an everyday life. Wishes to receive money to be able to interact socially as well as travelling to America to meet a dear friend that means everything to him.

We do not have many friends or participate in many communities so I don't have anywhere to share this page. If you would be so kind to let others know as well I'd mean the world!
