Make Music For A Cause

     I am a singer/songwriter who believes that over time, the element of good music has been lost. People are investing money into music that is degrading to women, un-inspirational to children and just downright trash. So many of them forget the reason they love music and the roots of where they came from. Then these artists who receive this money use it to buy things that don't make the world any better; purchasing objects like cars, jewelry and chains (worthless items with no ‘real’ value). I am not saying that artists cannot have their wants, but in addition to their wants, contribute to things such as Cancer research, AID/HIV research, Charities etc. With all of the money that is inside of the music industry this website wouldn't even have to exist, especially if these artists had their hearts in the right place, instead of thinking about their own selfish desires. They are making billions of dollars with nothing real of substance to show for it. I have the talent that I know would make millions if it were to be exposed and that having those millions would make me fortunate enough to help people who do not have a dime and are tragically less fortunate. To have enough money to throw away inside of the club (make it rain) does not make you a ‘somebody’, but it does give you the opportunity to make a difference, to help enough to help the world. Now that is truly something to be remembered for.
