Make her smile again!

I have known my friend Marie for 16 years now.  She is what I have always referred to as my adopted family.  She took me in at 16, and has always been my rock, as I have been for her.  Well, do to life situations, she has been in debt for a few years, with no way out.  She used to smile all the time and be a happy, carefree (aside from adult responsabilities) kind of lady.  She helped me go to college, and would do,and has done, anything for anyone she knows.  She isn't that person anymore.  With working 60 hour weeks, and the phone calls coming in, and the debt, she is a very different person from the one I met long ago.  I do what I can to help, but it's nowhere near enough.

I'm tired of her not being able to do things.  I would love for her to be out of debt, or at least closer to it.  I would love for her to be able to get away for a vacation, so she can decompress and relax.  She has worked her whole life as a Veterinary Technician.  She just turned 60 in December, and I would like for her to be able to slow down a little bit.

This is where you come in.  Any donation, even a dollar, will make a difference. I would love to see a smile on her face again, too see her happy again.  She is a proud lady, and would never ask for help.  I want to make this happen so bad for her.  If any extra was raised, I would tell her to go vacation and get away for some much needed personal time.

I know I am asking for a lot from people that I do not know.  But, I (and she) has nothing to lose at this point.  Again, anything you can give is greatly appreciated.  If you can't give, but no someone who can, please feel free to pass this along!
