Make elderly home handicap accessible

My youngest son and I are raising funds to help an elderly couple. They are in dire need of making their home handicap accessible. The little old man uses a wheelchair because of degenerative hips, he is not a candidate for surgery because if his heart. He is blind and is limited to staying indoors unless someone carries him off the step onto the porches or takes him down off the porch. The wife is tiny and frail and cannot lift him to help him to and from the  bathroom for bathing and toileting. I am wanting to install rails, ramps outside, as well as inside and a accessible shower with seat. We are doing all the labor ourselves and have already installed new slip proof tile, and lowered cabinets. Please... any help would be appreciated. Our elderly are not disposable. They were once US. We too will need that helping loving hand one day. Its our duty to protect them and help them. We are very passionate about helping our elderly generation. What a gift to teach our children.  Thank you in advance.
