The Dream

My husband and I have a dream of owning our own business restoring and building custom cars, trucks and Harley Davidson Motorcycles, but we lack all of the funds to start-up our own business, my husband is 43, he is a 20+ year Industrial Journeyman Electrician & Mechanic with a wicked gift for seeing what an old motorcycle or vehicle has the potential to be when most people would just scrap it. He has dreamed of owning his own business bringing classic vehicles back to life and giving back the beauty they once held, for this his entire life and he has my full support (as you can see as I am trying to figure out a way to get funding). I am 41 and have experience restoring classic vehicles and Harley Davidson Motorcycles and I also have experience as an Office Manager and I was a Customer Service Manager for several years. Our daughter, whom is 19 years old and a very gifted artist would be working with us doing the custom paint alongside my husband and she would be responsible for 100 percent of the custom artwork put on the vehicles. She is an extremely gifted artist and I can personally guarantee any custom artwork done by her will be one of a kind.

The Background

I am including this portion as a peek into our lives so that you can get to know us a little bit. My husband is currently working 84+ hours a week for that reason we have very little family time. My husband is a wonderfully awesome, honest, kind caring, hard-working man (believe me that's hard to find these days).

 He was in an motorcycle accident in 2007 that almost cost him his life and he is extremely lucky to have survived at all. His 2007 Harley Davidson Street Bob went down on him and sprayed fuel all over him then exploded (following the sequence of events with the accident he was lit up like a roman candle, literally), he was taken from Milton Florida the accident site, to West Florida Hospital, Pensacola and then take via life flight to USA Hospital Burn and Trauma Center, Mobile Alabama, this accident left him with spinal and nerve injury, 2nd degree burns on his face and neck and 3rd degree burns with extensive skin grafting on over 30% of his body.

 He is not a quitter, he went back to work as an industrial electrician 3 months after his release from USA Hospital Burn Unit in Mobile Alabama, he is a hard worker as you can tell from what I have already told you him working 84+ hours a week currently even though he is in horrible pain day in day out. 

Our Current Investment in “The Dream”
We currently have approximately 100K in tools, one motorcycle lift, five complete Harley Davidson Motorcycles, one Harley Davidson Motorcycle engine and transmission, one 1991 Chevrolet Camaro, and two 4x4 extended cab short wheel base trucks, the approximate value of the vehicles we have in stock in current condition is 75K. We have funds available for us to personally invest in this dream, but at this stage in the game they will be listed as an undisclosed liquid amount for investment.

We believe that in starting this business we will also be contributing to the “green movement” as we will not be making any new vehicles, but recycling what has already been made. All our disposal and business practices will be made with the health of our environment in mind. All disposal practices will be ALWAYS be environmentally sound.

The Business Location

My family is open to several possible locations for the business; Colorado is our first choice as we have many friends that reside there, Florida because that is home for us, North Dakota because that is where my husband’s current employer is located.

Being sensible and thinking of the current economy in the United States the wise move for the set-up and permanent location for the business would be North Dakota because it has the lowest unemployment rate in the USA at the moment, or Colorado because their economy seems stable as well.

Upon obtaining the proposed funds I would locate and acquire a business location and notify all donors of the business location. In doing this I would also have to acquire a home for my family in the close vicinity of the business location.

The Name of the Dream

The name of the business will be Wicked Angel Motorsports, my daughter will design the logo. We have some really awesome ideas to go with the logo but do not want to post them due to them not yet being copyrighted and do not want someone else to use them for a similar business.

The Rewards for Substantial Donations

The rewards for the first ten individuals to donate a minimum of one hundred thousand dollars to make our dream a reality will be the proud recipients of the first Wicked Angel Motorsports vehicle of our choice (this choice will be made upon talking with the substantial donors and finding what vehicle they would be interested in receiving in return for their donation, donor will be required to come to business location and pick vehicle up personally to insure it is not damaged by shipping the vehicle), this vehicle will be completely restored, and will wear custom paint with Wicked Angel Motorsports Custom Artwork advertising our business and artwork. There will only be ten of these rewards for the first ten substantial donors and these rewards will be ready within one year of acquiring all donations needed for start-up costs and donor will be required to pick them up within thirty days of being notified that their reward vehicle is restored and customized. Again there is only going to be ten of these rewards available to the first ten substantial donors.

 If there are larger donations than one hundred thousand dollars made by a single individual after the limit of ten has been reached this will be considered special circumstances and that individual also will receive a vehicle of our choice. Our restored custom cars, trucks and motorcycles are going to be a have to have for any and everyone who loves classic vehicles and Harley Davidson Motorcycles; they will be beautiful and classy!

A Thank-You for Making a Dream Come True and Giving Back

I would like to thank all donors no matter how small the donations are for your time and your assistance in making my family’s dream come true. Should our dream become reality you have our word that we will always “pay it forward”.

We try to help those in need that we can now, should this dream become reality a sincere promise from us to all of you is that we will hold three donation events a year for families who need assistance to get by, i.e. who need food, shelter, clothing, help with utilities, medical care, etc.. in the local area where we decide to set the business up.

We will also set up a donation program (for canned food, new clothing, new toys, new personal hygiene items, and new household items) at the business year-round to assist the local churches and food pantries who help those in need year around, as I know that their resources are stretched to the limit with the state of the economy these days.

We will also hold a toy for tots run every year in the summer and store the toys for the families who are less fortunate and we will personally take the gifts to the local churches to be distributed to those who are most in need.

As the business grows and expands we will hire those mechanically and artistically gifted who need the position the most, we will set-up a program with the unemployment office when the time comes seeking these specific traits in the individuals we will hire in the future.
