Who We Are:

Hello, my name is Dawn.  I am the founder and owner of Sensual Scentsations, an artisan crafted bath & body shop. After 7 years of creating bath & body products by hand as a hobby, I became serious about making my hobby into a steady income for my family. In 2011, I registered and licensed my business and set off on an adventure of a lifetime. Through many ups and downs including the birth of my son, my husband being laid off and the general eb and flow of business, we have come upon a major opportunity that can turn my family's dream into a reality!

Project Details:

At the end of December we were contacted by a major womens magazine interested in featuring one of our artisan crafted soaps in their Mother's Day edition. We were so tremendously excited for the opportunity. After the excitement settled, we realized that we might be in a bit of trouble. If this exposure for our small home based company brings in as much business as is expected, we will be short on funds to stock up on supplies. We are currently in a very tough financial situation from my husbands lay off, and though he has found another job, it unfortunately does not start until February. We are looking to raise funds to help us meet the expectations of our customers durning this time and to be able to take advantage of the great opportunity to get our business exposure and our family a bit of financial security. This feature in the magazine can help make our dream come true by giving us the means and opportunity to grow our business.
