I’m running the New York marathon!

Yes, I am doing it for fun. BUT I would also like to raise some money for a great cause.

Cancer has touched too many of my family and friends over the past few years, but when it has they have had access to treatment options that have given them the best opportunity.

This is not the case for everyone.

Please help me raise some money to support treatment for patients at Maharagama National Cancer Hospital in Maharagama, Sri Lanka - where a small contribution can make a real difference.

Why Sri Lanka? The run falls at a time when I would like to do something positive connected to our gorgeous friend Jess. Sri Lanka was a special place to her and featured in her stories as a world of beauty and wonder.

As a tribute to Jess's memory, her best friend and visiting doctor has begun donating vital medicine to children who cannot afford lifesaving treatment, I would like to support this too.

All donations received will be used at the Maharagama Cancer Hospital to help a family or families who cannot afford to fund their own treatment. In return, you will be given information about who our money helped.
