Maggie & Mika’s Championship Trip

We have recently just won the "Make a Mascot" Design competition organized by WebSummit in association with the creators of Candy Crush. 

This win allows us 2 tickets to the WebSummit event but they do not include air tickets and accommodation.  :( 

Just a quick breakdown on the money we raised.

The two of us are fresh grads who have recently just got into employment (1 month) and we have insufficient funds to go to Dublin. We're on a really really tight budget. Hopefully we can manage to go through these few days there.

We have worked really hard to win this competition via multiple sleepless nights and also having people like our picture on Facebook (as it is a voting competition). We put in huge effort in getting people around us to help spread the word and share our post.

Our mascot will be printed in 3D as well, and we really hoped to be there to let everyone know that we are the creators of the official mascot. There will also be a special private session together with the Kings' people and also the organizers of WebSummit during the summit. 

We really need help in making this trip happen as it will be an eye opener for us to meet CEO and Senior Management Personnels from MAJOR COMPANIES around the world, which includes Amazon, Google, Dropbox, Kaspersky, Huffington, CNN and so on. 

We hope that this trip will be made possible as it will be an exposure for us in the international platform. In return, we will be creating a vlog on our trip to the country in order to let our funders know what is happening at the event and also mention our funder's names at the international platform when we were asked for recognition.
