Madison’s Volunteer Trip – Southeast Asia

Hello! As a lot of my friends and family know, my favorite animal is the Asian elephant and it has been a dream of mine to go to Asia not only to see them in person, but to also attempt to fully delve into the different cultures and communities, all whilst impacting the environment in a positive way. Fortunately, I have been given the opportunity to do exactly that this upcoming summer from July 2-July 22, 2019 through a program I am involved with called GIVE Volunteers! However, I am unable to pay for all of the expenses by myself.

With your help, I may be able to go to Laos and Thailand in order to teach English to the local children, help build stronger infrastructure within the lesser developed communities hindered by natural disasters, cater to the needs of endangered animals in these regions, such as the Asian Elephant and the Asiatic Black Bear, and completely immerse myself within the environment these breathtaking countries have to offer. Whether it be donating any amount to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, or simply spreading the word, ANY type of contribution will be greatly appreciated!
