I'm travelling to Madagascar in August, to work in Nosy Komba and Nosy Be. I'll be working alongside other volunteers and locals, to develop the the community. This will involve teaching children; improving construction of school and medical facilities; marine conservation; forest conservation and vital research into the ecosystem.
I'm covering the vast majority of costs myself, but a few people have already offered to donate to the cause. If you want to help out, then absolutely anything would make a difference. £10 would feed a family for a week. £20 would help to cover the cost of materials for building projects, such as schools and medical facilities. Any monetary contributions will go straight into the project - allowing you to do your bit too.
