Macky’s Battle Against Bone Cancer

Hi! Hope you are all well with God's grace. Mark Anthony is my nephew (my brother's son). He is only 16 years old and was diagnosed of Osteosarcoma, a type of cancer that produces immature bone and the infected part is his right thigh. His condition started since May this year and Macky was checked by 2 specialists in Chinese General Hospital. He just undergone biopsy test and the result is bone malignancy (Osteosarcoma).

His doctor’s recommendation is to undergo series of chemotherapy (3 cycle of chemotherapy) then after that, the tumor will be remove through operation that will cost for about Php300,000 as per his doctor. After the operation, he still needs to undergo series of chemotherapy to ensure that there is no more cancer cells.

Me and my family would like to seek for any financial help for Macky's operation. He already finished the first cycle of chemotherapy last August 26, 2016. So far we have already spent almost Php100,000 on the chemotherapy drugs, biopsy, blood tests, research, CT Scans, 2D Echo, Specialist fees, etc. He also finished the second cycle last September 16, 2016. The 3rd cycle is to be advised by the doctor.

We are reaching out from the bottom of our hearts for help with these vital funds. Any donations will mean so much to us.We will also support Macky to the best we can, but we are not able to bear the whole expenses as the whole procedure will cost a lot of money.

We are all saddened about what happened to Macky at his very young age. He should be enjoying his teenage years and be able to study and have a brighter future ahead but Macky is a fighter and we know despite his condition, he will survive and continue to make his dreams come true.

Macky has a positive attitude and knows he can fight this with the right treatment. We do not want to lose our nephew and we know this can be treated. Please help our small family to achieve this.
