Macky Kizumi’s Medical and Operation Expenses (Michael Guerzon)

He was diagnosed with Achalasia an issue with his esophagus which caused him difficulty in swallowing. His doctor suggested the esophageal dilatation procedure, wherein a balloon will be inserted in his esophagus to widen it. Unfortunately, few days after that minor operation they found out that there is a 1cm tear in his esophagus that would need to be repaired through a surgical operation. His chest got filled with pus with almost 1 liter due to the infection from the tear. Right now, his body can’t take a major operation due to a severe weight loss. We were advised by the doctors that they need to have him gain some weight so his body can take a major operation. Currently, he has a tube in the left side of his chest to drain the excessive fluid caused by the infection. He is also in NGT feeding right now. They told us that it might take 4-6 weeks for his body to gain weight enough to endure a major operation. We did not expect these things to happen, so we are unprepared for this financial trouble with his hospitalization and upcoming operation.
