CONTEXT OF THE PROJECT

Art is a source of satisfaction and personal fulfillment, it contributes to the feeling of happiness and fulfillment. It creates encounters that enrich each individual and allow the development of a more united society and more respectful of the rights and freedoms of each.

Haiti does not lack of talent, on the other hand the supervision is lacking and this influences the quality of our artistic production. Painting, sculpture, drawing, dance, theater, etc. are little known in parts of the country. However, artists by the force of their imagination and their ability to renew artistic materials have seriously shaken the Haitian art world, which has struggled to identify with the works created.

Despite the country's difficult socio-political context, art is an absolute necessity for a society that explores its transformations and reflects on its future. He reads about the world, opens minds and borders and speaks to all social categories of society

Under these conditions, training and preparing a new generation of artist, which analysts say is the future of artistic production, becomes imperative. To overcome the various difficulties facing this sector, it seems to us ever more important to defend the notion of general interest in art. This is why we wanted to think about our "Mache Kontre" project.

PROJECT JUSTIFICATION

The "Mache Kontre" project is perfectly justified from the following points of view:

• It corresponds to a real request from young people from all layers in the haitian society especially from popular circles and towns far from Port-au-Prince. Young people in this category, according to them, wanted to take advantage of his talents to find new jobs in the field of art, particularly sculpture, graphics, visual communication;

• The learning of art remains for all countries a factor which should contribute to the development of a society, and ours needs it more than necessary;

• Art is an ideal medium to extend and materialize this learning;

• During the implementation of Klorat BIZ’ART activities in the neighborhoods, he realized that he could not meet this demand by continuing to operate with the only means and resources at his disposal

In addition, the project intends to lay the foundations for a long and intense awareness-raising around the development and promotion of artistic activities through training. This initiative will lead to mobilize minds and tastes, to awaken the consciousness and the creative imagination of each child and young person, man and woman who practice any art, to direct the interest of more than one, despite this situation of rubble in places, towards artistic activities.

ACTIVITIES

Dissemination and promotion of art for the benefit of the greatest number by organizing educational workshops, conferences and exhibitions.

Art is an undeniable vector of socialization and integration, it plays an important role in the development and fulfillment of everyone. From this observation, it seems obvious to ensure that it exists for everyone and brings art to life for everyone. Below are the priority activities of the project:

• Training workshop on seven (7) themes:

a) Workshop 1: Sculpture

b) Workshop 2: Visual communication

c) Workshop 3: Painting

d) Workshop 4: Drawing

e) Workshop 5: Theater

f) Workshop 6: Photography

g) Workshop 7: Writing technique

Note that at the end of the workshops, there will be a conference debate on the theme of the importance of art in society and its perspective. In addition, we are organizing a closing exhibition with the members of our team by integrating works of other artists in the area as well as the works of the participants of the different workshops.
