Campaign Story
(Edited) On Nov. 22, 2019, Ma’am Nenita Taberna or our tita Netnette was confined at St. Paul’s Hospital’s ICU in Iloilo City. She had suffered a heart attack and was on life support. Two days later, her body succumbed to the strain and she passed away peacefully with family and friends at her bedside. She was 77.
Tita Netnette had dedicated most of her life to a very noble purpose - teaching. She started her career at St. Pius School in her hometown of Pototan, moved on to La Concordia College in Manila and devoted the rest of it at Iloilo Central Commercial High School. Her passion in teaching and helping people were evident as she spent her retirement volunteering in her parish church, public schools (still teaching) and hospitals. She definitely had impacted so many lives, both in and out of the classroom. The friendships she had built over the years with her former students proved how well-respected and well-loved she is by everyone.

Farewell, Tita Netnette

Thank you again for the love and support from when she was hospitalized until her eventual passing. Our family will be forever indebted to you. God bless and God speed!

Interment will be on Saturday, Nov. 30th, 2:00 pm at St. Joseph
